Convention and Lines of appeal in the Lynx Advert




The Lynx premature perspiration television advert uses many typical advertising conventions. One of these conventions is the use of a slogan. The slogan used in Lynx premature perspiration is “Full control”, the reason this slogan appeals to a male audience because it tells them that if they use Lynx premature perspiration, They won't have to worry about sweating because it provides “Full Control” which persuade the male target audiences into buying their product

The other Convention that has been used in Lynx advert is the music in the background, the type of music they have used makes the viewer take the advert more seriously and also it makes it seem like is a really a big problem and there is a solution to it. Which as a result also creates fear to the male target audiences because they don't to take the risk of sweating and smelling in front of girls.

The Lynx premature perspiration advert also uses the convention of Voice over, The voice over gives the information about the problem that the audiences might be going through and how their product can help them with their situation. In the voice over is important who's voice they use because if they were to use some teenager as their voice over for the advert, the viewers may not take the advert as seriously as they would do by hearing someone older, because it helps create trust in the product.

In the Lynx premature perspiration advert there have been lots of line of appeals been used, one of them was fear, the reason the Lynx advert used fear is because it can have incredible influence on individuals, the reason they have used fear is because it create good effect in health products because it give the target market that insurance from the product.
